The new Sports Track on the upper concourse of the Arena is slated to be officially opened to the public on Wednesday, September 6th. This cushioned track will make walking and sports training sessions much safer and more comfortable for users than the concrete surface that has been used for the past year.
The Virden Oil Capitals make their debut this week with their training camp which runs Thursday, September 6th, Friday, September 7th and Saturday, September 8th.
On Saturday, September 8th the Virden Oil Capitals take to the ice in an inter squad game at 5pm and on Sunday, September 9th our newest hockey team will be back on the ice for their first exhibition game against the Waywayseecappo Wolverines.

On Saturday, September,8th and Sunday, September 9th the Virden Agricultural Society is holding the Kelly Stuart Ranch Rodeo at the Rodeo/ Agricultural Centre grounds.
This is the last rodeo event for the season so be sure to take in the action.
There is a lot going on in Virden and at Tundra Oil and Gas Place this week so don?t miss out.
