Elimination Chamber Match rules

On Feb. 17, one of WWE's most treacherous, brutal contests ? the Elimination Chamber Match?? makes its return to pay-per-view.

The imposing structure must be transported on a flatbed truck, where it takes eight hours to set up in the respective arena. The chamber itself is made of black painted steel with 16 frames, each weighing?300 pounds. Eight motors are needed to suspend the massive structure over the ring for each event.

In each bout, six Superstars will enter this heinous structure - which is composed of two miles of chain and 10 tons of unforgiving steel -?but only one can emerge with a lustrous World Title in their possession.

Here are the rules:

  • Two Superstars will start the match while the remaining four are enclosed in glass pods.
  • At designated times, a pod will open at random, enabling a Superstar to enter the match. This will continue until all the competitors have been released.
  • A man is eliminated via pinfall or submission only.
  • The last man standing is the winner.

Tune in to WWE Elimination Chamber, live on pay-per-view on Feb. 21?to see this chaotic, physical match and much more.
